Mila was born on June 9th 1976 in Uherské Hradiště in the Czech Republic. Her interest in the arts began very early on and it is reflected in her scholar route. In 1994, in her home-town, she integrated the School of Decorative Arts where she followed a fine arts course of study. At the same time, she taught drawing and painting to children at the Popular School of Fine Arts. From 2000 to 2004, she studied at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art of Grenoble and had a go at contemporary art and video, but still bearing in mind her favourite courses: engraving and photography. In her personal work, Mila takes an interest in the female body and its biological rhythm, and the link between woman and nature. Her wish for the future would be to illustrate children’s books.
